We’ll be on the televised portion of the Opry this Saturday, 7:15ish Central Time. We’re leaving Merlefest after our set with Tim O’Brien on Friday in an effort to get home and rested.

Our shows have been going great lately. We’ve made our 4.15.08 show available for download when you pre-order our New Record due out June 10th.

Birthday Bash 4.15 at the Fox

It’s Travis’ Birthday 4.15 at the Fox Theater and the Dusters are sharing the stage with Jamgrass favorites Greensky Bluegrass. Colorado is Travis’ old stomping grounds so count on a bunch of friends coming out. Anders Beck will be with Greensky, Burle should be in town and you never know what other Colorado Mainstays may make it out of the woods for the show. The band will also be using pickups in their instruments in addition to microphones so you’ll hear them loud and clear. Get your tickets now!

Old Town School of Folk show SOLD OUT

Wanted to make sure you knew before you headed out there without tickets that our show in Chicago is sold out. If you missed us this time, check the website as we’ll be adding dates starting in August and may make it through Chicago again this year. Thanks to all of you who bought tickets, next time maybe there’ll be enough for everyone.

Stringdusters Back Jim Lauderdale at Suwannee Springfest

Saturday at 4:20 (how convenient) the ‘Dusters will take the stage with longtime friend and legend Jim Lauderdale. Jim and Jesse (also funny) go way back, Jesse having played in his band long before the ‘Dusters existed. Jim is billed as a solo act at Suwannee but ever since our collaboration at Merlefest last year, we’ve been awaiting another opportunity to join forces. The ‘Dusters have yet to play more than a few songs with Jim but we’re really excited about the opportunity to play with the legend himself. Hopefully a member of the ‘Duster faithful will be out there rolling tape and the show will find it’s way into our archives.

New Spring Tour Posters

We’ve got new posters, they arrived today from Ohio and they are amazing! We’ll have them at all the stops on our Spring Tour and the remainders will be available in the Website Store after the tour is over in May. Our Winter Tour posters will be available in the Store within’ the week. You can also find all our records, including solo records and our new T-Shirts in the Store, accessed by clicking on the “Store” tab on the main page of the website.
