Oh yes, my friends. The Stringdusters have taken a vacation. Most bands go on tour. We live on tour, and have to make an announcement when we go OFF tour, like right now. We’re in the midst of a two week vacation, spawned by my desire to have a legitimate honeymoon with my new wife. Everyone is vacationing in their own ways, some of the guys are out of the country, some of us are visiting family, some of us are working as hard as ever recording and playing. To each his own. We resume life on the road with a killer fall tour that takes us through the East. The dates and info are up-to-date and correct, so check out the tour page and see when we arrive in your town. We’re also in the process of putting together our tour schedule for next year. We plan to spend less time in airports, and that means more time playing. We’ve already booked some great festivals for next year that we’ll be announcing soon and our spring season is going to be packed with club dates. We can’t wait to rip some new tunes for you this fall and winter and we’ve got a bunch of stuff up our sleeve that we’ll keep you informed about. Be sure to sign up for our mailing list.
