About The Founding Fathers

In 2011, The Infamous Stringdusters transferred their homebase from Nashville, TN to Charlottesville, VA.   The Founding Fathers is the stage name for the members of The Stringdusters who live permanently in Charlottesville.  While the lineup may evolve, it currently consists of Andy Falco (guitar) and Chris Pandolfi (banjo).  Expect special guests, instrumentals, and vocal performances that may not otherwise be heard from on stage from The Stringdusters.

The Silver Sky Tour kicks off in March and is heading to a venue near you. We are amped to be returning to many of our favorite east coast spots this spring as we get the show on the road.  Check out the new show additions in April and May.

Just added to ArtistWorks’ Academy of Bluegrass is School of Dobro with Andy Hall.

ArtistWorks announced today the launch of the world’s first online dobro school at the 2012 NAMM show, partnering with multi-award winning dobroist Andy Hall (The Infamous Stringdusters, Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris). Starting today, resonator guitarists of all levels can learn dobro online by way of “Video Exchange” from the comfort of their living rooms. The School of Dobro with Andy Hall will be part of the ArtistWorks Academy of Bluegrass, which has quickly become the world’s leading site and a magnet for those wanting to learn bluegrass banjo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar and bass online. The new website will be ArtistWorks’ thirteenth online music school, all of which use the innovative Video Exchange™ learning method recently featured in the LA Times.

Both Telluride shows sold out before doors. The Sunday 1/15 Crested Butte show is SOLD OUT.  Get your tickets in advance.  And as always, y’all are the best fans on the planet, thank you!
