  • How to purchase a specific SD show? (11 posts)

      Hello,

I would love to purchase via download the Stringdusters recent show here in Charleston SC area at the Pour House on Sunday May 20, 2012.

It seems I remember seeing a link on the website that would allow me to do so, but I can’t seem to find it.

      Any suggestions?

No suggestions on your request, but I find the request interesting, because this exact show you are requesting to purchase is up for download at archive.org, and the taper listed there is your name, and you have posted in other topics that you do record shows…

Very unusual for me to be on the hunt for a soundboard recording as my ears are tuned for audience recordings. The recording of this show I made is very good, especially for the noisy ‘Pour House,’ but there were two women near my mics yelling and hooting.

I asked a friend how he liked the recording and he mentioned that these women got on his listening nerves after a while. I streamed the soundboard recording from the SD archives and enjoyed it so much that I thought I would surprise my wife with the official recording as the show was so wonderful!

Please let me clarify: I would like to purchase soundboard recordings from the Infamous Stringdusters so that the money goes to the band. I love streaming the live recordings from various shows, but would love to be able to collect them, take them in my car, etc…

Have y’all considered selling ‘souvenir’ soundboard recordings of Infamous Stringdusters concerts?

Heck, I would probably buy the entire tour if it wee available…

I, also, would buy official downloads from the band. I buy 5-10 yonder shows per year not to mention Govt. Mule, Furthur, and some FestivalLink downloads as well.

Put ‘em up and watch the extra cash roll in, Guys!

I would love to buy some of these shows also! Archive.org doesn’t have the Roanoke show.

Hey guys, thanks so much for your interest in the live recordings. Unfortunately at this time we can’t sell soundboards to any songs recorded under our previous record label. If the shows you’re looking for are up on the website, I may be able to allow downloading of those. We’ll let you know asap.

It would be awesome if we were able to download some of these shows from the soundcloud page!

I would love to be able to download or purchase the 11/13/2012 concert in Lawrence, KS. Incredible night of music & energy! Possible?

Thanks Katrina for your looking in to this idea. Maybe the previous record label will realize that there is a positive correlation among live concert music sales, record sales and tickets sales… The old label will have ‘to adapt or…’

I’d love to get some soundboard recordings also.
Please update us on if an when this is going to happen.
