2013 Ski Tour Partners
January 29, 2013 in Uncategorized
We have some amazing partners along for this year’s Ski Tour.
Oskar Blues Brewery - Oskar Blues Brewery – The music-loving folks at Oskar Blues are way-down with the Dusters! They’ll be around at almost all the shows, with their classic Dale’s Pale Ale on hand at the venue, or maybe at a pre-party before the show. They’re bringing a pair of their awesome, custom Icelantic Skis that we’ll raffle off during the tour (all to raise money for Protect Our Winters), and stay tuned for info on a special day on the mountain with the band between Boulder shows. www.oskarblues.com/
Protect Our Winters - It wouldn’t be Ski Tour without Winter, right!?!? Protect Our Winters is not only one of our favorite acronyms: POW! They’re a great organization who is bringing climate change issues to the front for the snowsports industry. Founded by pro freerider Jeremy Jones after witnessing the changes on his favorite mountains firsthand, Protect Our Winters plans to educate and mobilize fans on the slopes and at the shows. Check out our merch table for more info on POW, and make sure you get a couple of raffle tickets for the Oskar Blues/Icelantic Skis, whose proceeds are going straight to Protect Our Winters. www.protectourwinters.org/
Mountain Khakis - Mountain Khakis are helping get folks out to see the Dusters with a big contest we just wrapped up for a trip to Jackson with hotel, meals, and tickets to the Dusters shows, along with great gear from Mountain Khakis and other brands. Congrats to Leslie in Sheridan, Wyoming on winning that prize! There’s still more: now through February 4th, at select MK retailers, anyone who tries on or purchases a Mountain Khakis product can register to win a pair of tickets to that town’s show. Check out the list below to visit your closest shop for a chance to win:
Durango – Pine Needle Mountaineering
Aspen – Ute Mountaineer
Boulder – Neptune Mountaineering
Park City – Park City Clothing
Jackson – Jack Dennis Sports & Skinny Skis
Icelantic Skis - What better fit for the Stringdusters and Ski Tour than cutting-edge skis, made right in Colorado? Icelantic makes an amazing product, and you just might catch some Dusters out on their skis between shows. Check out the Icelantic-made, Oskar Blues-branded skis that we’re raffling off at the merch table, and stay tuned for more opps on connecting with Icelantic and the band throughout the tour. www.icelanticskis.com/
